MOUNTAINDUIDE.jp provides you mountain trekking, skiing, and climbing (rock, ice or both) tour guides with instructions. We offer group guided tours as well as private tours, specifically for visitors from all over the world.

Please contact us! We will try our best so that you will enjoy trekking, climbing or skiing in the Japanese mountains in a friendly and secure environment.

We speak English and will be providing French and Korean translators in the future.

We welcome any questions about mountains and rocks in Japan.

Price for private tours/day:

Trekking (routes without roping), Free climbing, and Rescue training

       Ex. Mt. Fuji and Japan Alps in summer, rock-climbing areas near Tokyo

Four persons;   ￥10000

Trekking in snow, Variation routes, Gorges, Multi-pitched climbing, and Backcountry skiing

      Ex. Mt. Fuji and Japan Alps in snow, Rope climbing in Japan Alps

One person;   ￥30000

Two persons;  ￥25000

Three persons; ￥23000

*Transportation and lodging fees are not included. Some necessary gear, such as a helmet and a harness, will be provided at no charge.

About guided tours:

Sometimes we cannot reach the intended summit, though we always do our best to offer you the most satisfactory tour. There are always uncertain factors in nature. For safe mountaineering we have to change routes or the contents of activities. In such cases we cannot refund.  

We will try our best to prevent any kind of accident. In case of an accident, however, we cannot take any responsibility unless it occurs due to our faults.

We need your cooperation for successful and enjoyable mountaineering.

Insurance:

You have to have insurance to cover the intended activities. Mountaineering is not usually covered with travel insurance. Please let us know if you do not have insurance.

Cancellation policy:

We charge cancellation fees in accordance as follows:

No charge:  10 days before

50%:  9 to 3 days before

80%:  2 days before to the day of the tour

100% without any notification

Refunds:

If we cancel the tour due to the inevitable factors, such as weather or routes conditions, before the meeting time, we will refund 100%, at the meeting, 80%, on the approach, 50%. In case of changing routes or activities, we cannot refund.
